- These degree have the name “Doctor of” so why they can’t use prefix “Dr” when their degrees states that they are doctors. These courses are registered and approved by Health ministry and HEC. PMDC should complain HEC and health ministry about it.
- As per international standards every health professional with the degrees of Pharm.D and DPT can use the prefix of “Dr”. There is any flaw in the international laws?
- PMDC is a regulatory authority for MBBS and BDS only other health professions have their own regulatory authorities like Pharmacy Council. So it’s not the responsibility of PMDC to evaluate other professions.
- Physiotherapists are authorized to open their own rehab centre and a clinic whereas Pharmacist can prescribe general medicines in some cases as per international standards. So how they are liable of committing quackery?

If PMDC is concerned about quackery they should start a crackdown for the quacks sitting in streets around Pakistan as there is a sharp increase in the number of these clinics and should not pass decisive announcements on professional values of other health care professions when they have their own legislation and regulation authorities.
